North Texas Equestrian Center, Inc. (NTEC) is located forty minutes from downtown Dallas nestled in 50 acres along the shores of beautiful Lake Lavon in north eastern Collin County.
In addition, owner and head trainer Kai Handt is the region’s leading importer of German warmbloods and specializes in personally selecting European bred horses suited to the needs of the rider.
“As a Para-Equestrian dressage rider and aspiring Paralympian I feel very fortunate to be at NTEC. I receive elite-level instruction and guidance from owner and coach, Kai Handt, and have the opportunity to ride well-trained, top dressage horses. This combination has allowed for substantial progress in my riding abilities, and competition success, in a short amount of time. I have always felt comfortable and welcomed by the NTEC family and have formed wonderful friendships with the other riders. Above all, the overall health and welfare of the horses, along with the safety of the riders is always a top priority.”
“North Texas Equestrian Center has been my barn home for over 25 years. When people ask me why i have stayed there so long i tell them, they have always taken great care of my horse. They have excellent trainers, who are always willing to help me, even though i am not a show rider!”
“I am so proud of my horse and excited for our future together. I really like a boarding service here at NTEC! Thanks again for your help and patience!”
“Thank you all for assisting us with the process, providing us access to such wonderful horses, and partnering with us throughout the purchase process. You made something that initially felt like the impossible become a reality!”
