NTEC is a United States Equestrian Federation Elite Training Center, as well as an International ParaDressage Center of Excellence and a United States Olympic Committee Riding Club. Dressage in its simplest definition is the highest expression of horse and rider training, and includes the rider guiding the horse through a series of predetermined movements under saddle with increasing levels of difficulty.

If your goal is to compete in dressage or paradressage, we will help you reach your highest potential. Students may ride one of our lesson horses which include competition horses and school masters, or students may ride their own horses. NTEC has trained riders in dressage from Training Level through the Grand Prix Level, and we invite you to join our very successful program.

What will I need for lessons

Typical rider apparel includes breeches or jodhpurs, boots, gloves, and a helmet.  However, when starting out, boots and helmets are the essentials. At North Texas Equestrian Center, helmets are available to borrow until you are ready to purchase your own. When competing, more formal attire is required and is contingent on the English discipline in which one is competing.
