Riding Lessons

Riders are placed into groups according to their abilities and rate of advancement. First-time riders will learn basic skills in horse care, including how to lead, groom and work safely around a horse. Every rider will be assessed for their level of ability the first day to ensure they receive the best instruction for their level of experience.

Experienced riders will be placed in more advanced groups where they can further develop their skills. Careful supervision helps provide a safe learning environment regardless of the rider’s level of experience. It is not uncommon for children to advance to a higher group during the course of a week.

Horses, Horses, Horses

Whether you’re ready to start jumping or need a safe horse to learn the basics, we have a wide selection of well-schooled horses for every level of experience. It is important that your child learn on horses that arc healthy and well trained. Our school horses are in excellent condition and show ready at all times.

Other Activities

A long day in the Texas heat can be exhausting. We plan special activities throughout the day to keep spirits high and to just to have fun and make friends. In addition to learning about different aspects of horse care, campers play games, have scavenger hunts, and arts and craft sessions are held every afternoon.
